Program Coordinator. He is responsible for building a strong
coalition of individuals and organizations that together promote
the message of healthy marriages.
Some of Steven's responsibilities include: establishing and
maintaining relationships and collaborations between MRC, MHMC,
ACF, churches, social service agencies, and other organizations.
He accomplishes this by providing ME (Marriage Education)
services to numerous organizations and agencies.
Steven has presented at: the Judson Center, Starfish Family
Services, Wayne County Head Start and Milan Federal Prison to
name a few.
Since joining the staff of the MRC, Steven has become a
Certified Marriage Trainer, and has been trained in such
programs as: PREP (Prevention and Relationship Enhancement
Program), Smart Steps for Stepfamilies, and Family Wellness.
Also, as co-host of the popular Internet radio show, “Marriage
Talk – Building Healthy Relationships,” Steven uses his gift of
gab to help bring people some real tools they can use - both for
themselves and their families - mixed with a dose of humor. He
uses his past experiences and connections to help the MRC spread
its' message throughout all of the communities of Wayne County. |
