Proud Parents

This program is geared toward couples, couples who are planning to get married, and individuals who are expecting or have children. The goal is to develop positive attitudes toward parenting and strengthening relationships.
Select topics covered in this program are: Roots of Marriage and Parenting, Sharing Power, Feelings: The Spice of Relationships, Resolving Conflicts.
The program is 10 sessions with each session lasting for 2 1/2 hours. The 2 1/2 hour session includes a meal.
In addition, childcare and transportation assistance is provided.

Proud Fathers

Like the Proud Parents program, transportation and child care is provided. One important note is this program is for males only. The goal is to develop skills for male nurturance in family relationships.
Select topics in this program: The Roots of Fathering, Managing Anger/Resolving Conflict, Teamwork with Spouse/Partner, Dealing With Feelings.
Both programs will end with an elaborate graduation ceremony - family and friends are invited to attend!
The program is 14 sessions with each session lasting for 2 and 1/2 hours. The 2 1/2 hour session includes a meal.
The program also provides a employment/ career resource fair for the participants on the 8th session.

Marriage Encounter Weekend
Marriage Encounter Weekend is designed to give married couples the opportunity to examine their lives together, to share their feelings and hopes, to deepen and enrich the joys they share together. The weekend is for the couple to be alone together, to rediscover each other and focus on their relationship. Every marriage deserves this kind of attention.

Advanced Registration Required
There is a request for a "free-will" donation at the end of the weekend. No couple is turned away for financial reasons.
